Lote5 is  the fruit of a family of 5 elements, in which each one, in their own way, lent a little of themselves, by venturing into the Douro, in magic, art and love to make vines and wine.

The family, with centuries-old family roots linked to vineyards and wine, wants to show and value the Douro region – World Heritage by Unesco, a unique region in the world!

They combine their excellent, carefully selected grapes with the genius of their Winemaker, Jorge Alves, and a good image for the creativity  of Miguel Freitas, to make known  the their wines to the world and to  honor the “Douro” brand, which they so proudly defend.
